    Description

Photo ID of a Cash Collector (
    Inkassator
) of the National Bank of the USSR, issued in 1940.
This is GUARANTEED 100% ORIGINAL official Soviet document from WW2  – NOT a replica!
The document is of nice quality, with hard cover bound in imitation leather. The front cover has impressed inscription “Department for Cash Collection and Transportation of Valuables of the State Bank of the USSR”. Inside, there is a nice photo of the original owner, a young man wearing a uniform of Red Army private. The document shows that his name is Ivan Reshetnyak, and that the document was issued on 1 July 1940 by the Stalino regional branch of the bank (the region in the Ukraine is now known as Donetsk Region.) Internal pages also have official stamps, certification signatures of the bank officials and extended validation note through the end of December 1941. It is interesting to see that the original owner had to surrender his internal passport when he was issued this ID!
The ID is in VERY GOOD condition. The cover is almost perfect, with only a couple of minor scuffs and minimal wear to the spine. The binding is still firm and sound. The internal pages have minor scuffs and wear but all are perfectly clean; all the stamps and hand-written entries are completely legible.
A nice and very uncommon Soviet ID card from the WW2 / early Patriotic War period.
