    Description

    You are bidding on the pictured Wood Chess Set with Hand Turned Pieces Complete 32 Pc set - 80's 5" King + Board.  Kings measure just under 5" tall and pawns are approximately 2-1/4" tall.  Wood is very light weight, probably pine.
    This used/estate item is being sold in the condition shown in the pictures.
    Quite a bit of variation in piece size, especially in the Pawns so these are definitely hand made/hand turned.  Newspaper appears to be from Mexico from 1983 so I suspect that these were made in the early 1980's.  King is just under 5" tall.  Pieces are not weighted.
    Box measures 15-1/2" x 7-3/4" x 3-1/4" and entire set weighs just over 4 pounds.  Shipping weight will be 5 pounds.
