Vintage Wooden Chess & Checkers Peg Board Portable/Travel Set GORGEOUS RARE!

Description

The inlaid wooden board is so fantastic by itself.
Has brass sliding doors on either side with pockets for the chess pieces or checkers.
Complete and very rare.  Great for travel play and analysis.
People who love chess love chess sets and this is a classic!
There is some writing in pen on the bottom of the board-- I believe by prior owners
representing when they got the board (dates are in the 1920's and 1930's.)
Note-- some of the checker pieces have been marked with a pen (visible in photos.)
This was not me and I do not understand why.
The board is about 7" by 7" by 1.25".
