VINTAGE POT METAL ITALIAN BUST CHESS SET WITH STORAGE BOX
Used in Alfred Hitchcock movie
Chessmen range from 1 3/4"-2 3/4" with 1 1/8" bases and are felted green on bottom
Weighs approximately 6lbs
Maroon vinyl storage box has two Black velvet trays that hold chessmen and are removeable
Storage box has some scuffs on multiple corners. Chessmen are in good condition for it's age except one Rook has a tip chipped off on top.
My relative had an appraisal done over 20 yrs ago in December 2000 from Elizabeth Gann
