  • Condition: These are rustic in nature with a rough crude finish. The felt on the bases are worn and peeling up around the edges. The box is well worn with scratches and other damage. There is s pit near one corner. The hinges are loose, one is missing the pin and the other the hinge is bent and the nails are pulling out. I have shown some example photos, but I have others so please ask to see them and I will send them to you.     DESCRIPTION AND CONDITION
    Up for sale is a vintage Mexican carved wood chess set. It has a 6” King. The box measures about 17.5” by 17.75”.
    These are rustic in nature with a rough crude finish. The felt on the bases are worn and peeling up around the edges. The box is well worn with scratches and other damage. There is s pit near one corner. The hinges are loose, one is missing the pin and the other the hinge is bent and the nails are pulling out. I have shown some example photos, but I have others so please ask to see them and I will send them to you.  Please review the photographs and email me if you have any questions or want additional photographs.
    I mainly sell used older items including antiques, collectibles and oddities so please expect some signs of wear from use.
