  • Condition: The books used to hold chess pieces have some light wear and the smaller box has a small puncture on the cover but does not go through, still looks great! There is wear on the board as you can see in the pictures but it still looks very good. One of the metal legs has a gap between the board and the leg but is sturdy and tight. The Chess pieces have some wear which looks like oxidation but still look great. The chess pieces are heavy. Please look through all pictures for accurate description of condition and quality.

    Vintage Medieval Renaissance Chess Set Metal Casting Chessmen Board Antique.
    The books used to hold chess pieces have some light wear and the smaller box has a small puncture on the cover but does not go through, still looks great!
    Does not come with original box. Boxes feel like they are made of wood and are a good storage box for the chess pieces but are not original to the board or chess pieces. Please look through the pictures thoroughly to see the quality and condition. Pieces look like they may have a little oxidation and the board has some minor damage to it. You can see the details in the pictures.
    Not sure what the board is made of but it is heavy and feels like it is wood.
    NOTE:
    Total weight with packaging will come out to approximately 18 - 19 pounds and this is due to the weight of the metal casting chess pieces, chess board and the storage boxes for the chess pieces and the box and packaging to ship it to you safely.
