  • Condition: The box is in used condition. The handle is missing the handle. The edges are worn and there is some kind of residue on it. The inside elastic is stretched and the felt liner needs cleaning and needs to be attached. There are 4 missing pieces including the silver queen, 2 silver pawns and 1 bronze rook. Some of the pieces have some of the finish worn in spots.

    Description

    The chess pieces measure from 2-1/2" for the pawns to 3-5/8" the king.
    There are 4 missing pieces: 2 pawns, a rook and a queen.
    This is a vintage metal chess set by E.S. Lowe Anri.
    Most of the pieces have red felt bottoms. The felt is worn and discolored.
    The box measures 15-1/2" x 7-1/2" x 3-1/4" when closed.
