Vintage Chess Set Hand Carved Mexican Pulpit Style Chessmen w/ Storage board!
Carved of cow bone, this vintage set is likely from the 1960s or so.
The chess set is a "pulpit" style set with large, 4.5" kings!
Good overall condition, but it does have a few chips here and there. See pictures. The most noticeable one is the broken reins on 2 of the knight's bridle straps.
Comes with a wood storage board, also made in Mexico. As you can see from the pictures it was stored in the sunlight so 1/2 the board is a bit discolored. Has a few surface scratches. Solid board otherwise and goes quite well with the set so I thought I'd include it!
