    Vintage Austin Cox Aluminum Chess Set, circa 1962 Mid-Century Modern with Display Case
    This vintage 1962 aluminum chess set was designed by Austin Cox and is in amazing condition! The pieces come with their original wooden storage display case, and the blue acrylic sliding door. The wooden case is in decent condition, but does have some surface wear. It is however sturdy, and all of the interior piece holders are in good condition as well. The pieces themselves range from about 3.75 inches to just under 5 inches, and are all silver for one side, with the other being black and silver. The case measures 31 x 6 x just under 2.25 inches, and has holes on the back allowing you to mount it to a wall, should you like.
    This is a chess set is not just for collectors, would love, but also for anyone who loves Mid-Century modern design.
    Please note that this does not come with a board.
