Vintage Aluminum Metal Chess Set in Wood Case Made by White's

VINTAGE ALUMINUM METAL CHESS SET IN WOOD CASE - box is marked White's Aluminum Chess Copyrighted - see photos. 32 pieces PLUS 2 extra black queens and 1 extra black pawn. All are aluminum with green felt bottoms. The black set does show some wear - there are some small nicks where you can see the silver aluminum under the black on several of the pieces.
The King measures just under 3 1/2" tall and Pawn is just under 2" tall
The wood box has some age and measures 11" wide X 6" deep X 4" tall
This is a beautiful chess set picked up at a local estate sale. I know nothing about chess, please email specific questions. Any information on this set would be greatly appreciated.
THE SET IS COMPLETE AND IN GOOD CONDITION
THE WOODEN CASE SHOWS A LITTLE WEAR - Probably due to age.
