Vintage 1941 Soviet Tournament Chess Set with Original Folding Dated Board

For your consideration is a vintage and rare 1941 Soviet Tournament Chess Set with original folding wooden storage board. Inside the board the date is stamped 1941. The 32 piece set is in fairly good condition with finish wear and some minor flaws which can be easily repaired. The pieces are not weighted, typical for many Soviet wartime sets. Kings measure just over 4" in height with a 1 1/2" diameter base. Pawns approximately 2 1/4" in height. Pieces bottoms are covered in cloth which show wear and soiling. The flaws: There is a small chip to the ear of one white Knight. The second white Knight has chips to both ears. One black Knight has chips to both ears. The ears can be easily repaired. The folding wood board is in very poor condition with heavy wear and damage to the playing surface. More pictures upon request.
