    Description

    We are delighted to offer one of the most elaborate and detailed fantasy chess sets ever made. This very rare set was designed by Ray Lamb for the Perth Pewter company in 1981. Each piece is an extraordinary work of art, intricately sculptured with great imagination and incredible detail. A work of art that reveals the renowned fantasy artist's unique vision. Each pawn is signed by Ray Lamb, and the bottoms of the pawns show the year of production; 1981. The battlefield is a faux leather chessboard, with a woven frame. The Chess pieces are stored within the base below the chessboard in individual compartments. This now 40 year old set is gently used. The backside of the chessboard is dirty.
