Some of the most popular turntables made yet due to decades of non-use or missing parts these things are most of the time hard to find.
Out of frustration and several attempts at solving this problem I finally came up with a better solution that
LOOKS BETTER and FITS BETTER.   IT’S EVEN SOO SMOOTH AND HEAVY IT FEELS BETTER.
MACHINED from high grade
SOLID STAINLESS STEEL
with high CHROMIUM AND NICHEL content.
LOOKS BETTER:
only high CHROMIUM STAINLESS STEEL; that is high speed hand buffed, can give this kind of mirror like finish.
FITS BETTER
: My design goes inside the spindle hole with a skirt machined from the same grade SOLID STAINLESS STEEL and MACHINE PRESSED to keep the proper distance from the mechanism beneath. The skirt diameter is large enough to cover the center shaft mechanism. Mechanism that works the multi play or stacking spindle option, record changer function type turntables, to fit the following models.
Technics models SL-1950, SL-1650, SL-1350, SL-1360, SL-3350, SL-5350, SL-235, SL-B5, SL-D5, SL-B500, SL-D500. Also Dual 1200 series and MCS 6700, MCS 6701, MCS 6710 turntables.
