  • Condition: Here is an incredible Decca ffss pick-up tonearm and original Decca ffss MK1 red body cartridge in superb used condition. The tonearm is in excellent clean condition. There is a minor scratch on the rear pedestal flange probably caused by the set screw otherwise it is in like new condition. The MK1 cartridge is also in superb used condition and may never have been used. The original box has some issues with a couple of breaks in the see through plastic and there also some wear on the blue base of the box and outside of the box. It also comes with the Installation Instructions and General Notes and the Template. Please check out the pictures to get a good idea of the condition of this wonderful item.

    Here is a incredibly rare vintage Stereophonic Decca FFSS Pick-Up Tonearm and it's original Decca FFSS MK1 Red Body Cartridge.
    This is the original cartridge and it came with the tonearm, the cartridge and the counter balance are both marked D8986.
    It comes in it's original blue box and it has the original red tags for care of the cartridge and lateral arm bearings packed in viscous fluid.
    It has its original cloth covered wiring.
    Output: 1-4 mV/ cm/ sec per channel. It is suitable for an amplifier system with sensitivity of 5 mV.
    Impedance: 3,000 ohms at 400c/ s.
    Recommended Termination: 47,000 to 100,000 ohms.
    Diamond Stylus Radius: 0.0005 inch.
    Tip Mass: Approximately 1 milligram.
    Stylus Compliance: Lateral...10 x 10-" cm/ dyne and Vertical...2 x 10-" cm/ dyne.
    Cross Talk: Approximately 20 db at 1 Kc.
