Alloys with a higher gold content will have a color that is more saturated and yellow. In contrast, lower-karat alloys
will look paler in comparison.
One of the most beautiful pin pendants I have bought - a  beautiful Victorian pin brooch / pendant
The pin can be worn as a pendant or charm - see pictures. It already has the hook - just add a bail. Any jeweler can do this -  I am currently not offering this service.
I personally think this would make a great ring.

Pictures were taken in broad day light on a sunny day with an Iphon*. Colors
might
display differently on your screen or you might perceive the colors differently..
The sun brightens every picture.
No alterations were made, no enhancements, no filters used.

Item is in good USED PREOWNED PRE-LOVED condition but not new as new or anything else.
It is a vintage, antique, used pin with normal wear.
No chips.
Pin looks warped (see pictures) but this is so it accommodates the curve of the stone. I do not clean vintage or antique items as to preserve their patina but leave it up to the new owner to do as they deem fit.
