    Description

Soviet Honorary Certificate issued in 1981 to a Correctional Officer by the MVD Police Department of the Leningrad Region.
This is GUARANTEED 100% ORIGINAL document of Soviet era, officially issued by the Soviet authorities – NOT recent reprint or a fake!
The document features a Distinguished (Honored) MVD Employee Badge on the cover. The internal pages have profile of Lenin in gold and the Soviet State seal, with typographically printed writing in gold “Honorary Certificate”. The typed text says that the document was issued to Yury Vinogradov for “active role in correcting and reeducating law breakers.” The document has a stamp of the Main Directorate for Internal Affairs, Leningrad Region, and is hand-signed by its chief V. Kokushkin. There is a date 15 December 1981 at the bottom.
    Opened size 16 1/2" x 11 3/4".
The document is in VERY GOOD condition. There are some tiny tears and small wrinkles to the edges, but no major damage. It will display nicely, especially when framed, and can be an impressive backdrop for the Soviet law enforcement collection.
