I received this chess set about a former head of a chess club. They were purchased for the championship in the 80s and were not used afterwards.
It's beautiful in its simplicity, the graceful figures in the old Soviet style. Even if you do not play chess, and are not related to this intellectual sport, chess sets are always nice to have in your house as a kind of decoration for your apartment
