Soviet armor vest ZHZL-74 Ukraine militia 1990s
Dear buyers, I want to offer for you the armor vest ZHZL-74 (ЖЗЛ-74) that was used by Soviet and then Russian/Ukrainian militia (police) units 1980-2000.
In the vest a "scaly" layout of the armor elements is used. The armor elements 50 mm in diameter and 2 mm thick (the ABT-101 aluminum alloy is used for the armor elements) are arranged in two layers, and the "scales" in the layers are oriented in different directions to prevent the weapon from diving when striking at angles.
The vest covers vital organs and is guaranteed to protect the body from being hit by a knife, sharpening, awl, knitting needle (which is not always protected by Kevlar bulletproof vests of the 1st and 2nd protection classes, without solid armor elements). It also weakens blows with stones, an ax, a crowbar, and other weapons of shock-crushing action due to the rigidity of the entire structure and its parts.
Body armor weight 3.5 kg, with a protected area of 43 - 47 sq. Dm. The time of a comfortable stay in this vest is up to 8 hours.
This vest was made in 1980s, it was used and has signs of using (scratches, dirty stains, has mold smell).  Also it was marked by painted white line on front and back after using in some special unit.
Due to lasting storage it is selling only for collection, it has not any guarantee of protection.
Condition: used (has spots, scratches, mold smell). All details (pros and cons) on the photos.

Terms:
“used” – item functional in general, but has small signs of previously used (spot, scratches, smell of smoke, other)
“warehouse storage” – item was not in used, functional in general, but can have signs of lasting storage (blush colors, smell of warehouse,  others)

The item(s) will be shipped by registered airmail by Ukrainian Postal Service within 3 business days after the payment is received to the address that specified in your eBay/Paypal account.
Delivery is from Europe, Ukraine and it takes as a usual 7-11-21 business days. In some cases it can take up to 30 business days.
Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges.

If you receive an item you did not order or if the item you ordered does not match the description, I will refund the price you paid for it or replace it with another one.
Item for returning must have the original tags, packing and the same condition like on photos, otherwise it won't be accepted.
