indicating it is composed of 18K solid gold with intent for export, and the makers mark (10th & 11th images). Made circa 1890. Weighs approximately 4.9 grams. Approximately 7.53 cm (2  15.5/16 inches) in total length, with the Lotus flowers motif being approximately 1.68 cm (10.5/16 of an inch) in height and approximately 1.5 cm (9.5/16 of an inch) in width. The Art Nouveau Trinity Lotus flowers motif is composed of 18K solid yellow gold, while the pin itself is composed of 18K solid rose gold, exhibiting high quality craftsmanship & goldsmithing, truly one of the nicest ancient

Perfumes were created from the Lotus flower in ancient Egypt, and the flower is associated with the Egyptian god Ra, the Sun god, since it opens during the day and closes at night. The ancient Egyptians believed that Ra emerged from a Lotus flower in ancient primordial waters, and that when Ra, the sun, sets down in the evening to set forth night goes back into the Lotus flower, which is also why it was extremely sacred so that when the pharaohs were buried it was also with these Lotus flowers. When you gift this beautiful pin your saying that the wearer is equivalent to Ra, the Sun deity, that that person is everything to you deserving of the noblest flowers and jewels, truly a gift fit for any God or Goddess in your life !
