    Description

    Vintage Austin Cox Backgammon Board.  Excellent condition.  Glass top remains un-chipped and very bright and crisp.  Border features dovetail joints and is very solid.  Board is designed to be wall hung (but please note, it is very heavy).  The chess pieces are period Bakelite but are not original to the board.  I have collected these sets for many years and shopped hard to find the right size and period Bakelite pieces.  Hopefully, you'll agree that they match the set perfectly.  I recently sold a matching Austin Enterprises chess board and 1962 chess pieces.  Anyone who owns the glass chess board would especially enjoy this as a perfect companion piece.  Hate to part with it but we're downsizing so it's time for it to go.
