    Description

    Antique cobbler shoe repair ANVIL # 84-8592 MADE IN USA for 2 size of shoes in cast iron. Found in the floorboards of an old woodworking shop built in 1929.  Some rust and pitting is noted.  Shows its age well and displays well.  Weight is nearly 9 pounds.  Measures 9 x 7 x 6 inches.  Virtually indestructible.  Very nice and very unique to find one with two shoe sizes.  Also unusual to find one with a solid base, most bases on these are hollow.  Offered in as is as found condition, I have not tried to aggressively clean it, but with a bit of sanding and some gloss black paint it would really look great.  Actual item is pictured, see photos!
