Over 7 years ago we introduced our improved hinge design and it has proven to be the most popular and most reliable hinge with more than 300 sold.
Our hinge has increased strength and is fabricated with precision while maintaining the exact same look and fit as the original.  The solid one piece construction uses a material that is much stronger than the injected molded type that has warps, dimples, and weak sections.  We have thoroughly tested our hinge and use it exclusively when restoring customers' Thorens turntables.
