Pair (2) B&C 6CXN36 8 Ohm Pro Audio 6.5” Coax- Nice!

You are buying a pair (2) of nearly new 6.5” 8 Ohm B&C high power handling pro sound coaxial driver with 200W continuous power handling for the woofer and 50W power handling for the compression driver/horn. Nearly new mean’s the drivers have been tested with an analyzer and the SPL and impedance measured, which is just basic incoming quality control testing on a new woofer (about 30 minutes testing on a brand new set of drivers). The B&C 6CXN36 would work well as a high quality small studio monitor or stage monitor, or as a mid-high part of a 3-way design.
The low frequency driver portion of the 6CXN36 has been designed to produce extremely smooth and natural midrange response you expect from B&C drivers. The 1.3" voice coil is wound on a light-weight glass fiber former to handle 100 watts RMS (200 watts peak). The high power handling gives this driver amazing output capability for its size. Also, with 4.1 mm of Xmax excursion capability, the 6CXN36 can move an impressive amount of air for surprising midbass impact. A rugged stamp steel frame ensures that this little driver can take the use and abuse that it will be exposed to in the pro sound or even mobile audio environment. Finally, the naturally damped paper cone produces smooth response and even has a waterproof coating for use in less than ideal situations.
The 6CXN36's high frequency assembly has been engineered to be an easy match for the woofer. The 1.4" polymer dome produces extremely wide frequency response, making for an easy transition to the woofer. At 100 dB efficient (2.83V/1m) the high frequency unit only needs a small amount of attenuation to properly match up with the low frequency driver for flat response. It's controlled 90° conical dispersion pattern is perfect for filling a large area with sound while minimizing unwanted reflections. All of this makes the 6CXN36 one of the most capable small coaxial drivers on the market. Visit the B&C site for more info.
