Good Gripes Chef's Digital Leave-In Thermometer. This is new-ish. I say new-ish because this has never been used BUT has been taken in and out of the box to either look at and see how to use it or we decide to use it and then didn't make any attempt to make it useable/functional by washing probe wash probe (and we never removed sticker on top of thermometer, battery protection tab or unwrapped cord you plug into thermometer and then end up sticking into meat (the probe part). BUT box is in horrible looking shape as it's been wiped down and moved back and fourth in cabinet or drawers BUT actually thermometer is in new/good and unused shape.

takes (2) AAA Batteries. Box says, Chef or USDA recommended temperatures, 10-degree warning alert and cord and probe nest inside base! With this thermometer: Pre-set temperatures for 9 types of meat, poultry and fish. Large and easy-to-read with it's LCD screen. Simple interface with buttons to easily scroll through menu options. Set temperatures or 24-hour timer. Leave-in stainless steel probe continuously monitors internal temperatures. Choose USDA or chef recommended temperatures for optional taste. Cord and probe nest inside base for easy storage.

thermometer is new, never used but has been taken out of box and looked at and with serious thoughts about using, but didn't. Box is in horrible shape but still holds thermometer and probe just fine!
