    Description

    Very unique soviet chess set from the 1920's or possibly 30's. This is likely a variation of the BFI sets.The pieces are very well preserved! All of them are very interesting, but the beautiful knights are hard to miss. The pieces are weighted which is not common. The bases for several of them are missing baize/felt and or have it with mismatched colors. The board is in good playable condition but nothing like the pieces. The stamp on the board is not legible, but this set likely came from the "Kultsport" Artels. This set was acquired from a reputable dealer.
