Description:
One-of-a-Kind, Hand Made Chess Set in Pine (2.625" King)
This is truly a chess set with a unique design.  Hand crafted from yellow pine, one of the hardest and most durable woods, the design is simple and the pieces are easily recognizable.  The pieces are small (see dimensions,) so the bases are only felted and not weighted.  White pieces are natural.  Black pieces are stained with a mixture of walnut and mahogany.  Both are varnished to a gloss finish.
The set has been in storage since it was crafted and never used for play.  It is, therefore, new.

Condition:  Set is in new condition.  The cardboard box has is a makeshift interior to prevent piece movement.  The box itself is a vintage US Chess Federation box from the 1950's.
Features:  There is not another set like this anywhere in the world!  I would recommend it only be used for display.
