    Nagaoka 7/72 µm (0.0002” x 0.0028”) SD Nude Shibata Diamond Hardened Tapered Aluminum Cantilever installation for your moving magnet, moving iron or moving coil cartridge with intact or missing aluminum cantilever.
    If your diamond is worn or missing whether your cantilever is intact or not, I will happily replace your diamond for you and bench test and play test your cartridge.
    Diamond will be installed, and cartridge will be bench tested and play tested. Cartridge to perform to minimal published specs at the very least or your money and cartridge back (minus the diamond). Most cartridges are fully suited to undergo a diamond replacement and perform as good as they do when brand new. Why buy a new cartridge when all you need is a diamond?
    Cartridge and diamond wear will be fully inspected before any work is initiated. Sometimes people just send me a dirty diamond. In those cases, I clean the diamond for a nominal fee and return the cartridge and refund the purchase price.
    Your precious cartridge will be handled with the utmost care and concern. It is entirely safe to replace a diamond. I have replaced hundreds of diamonds. I orient the tracing edges exactly parallel to the cantilever axis with no tolerance or slop. In most cases, brand new cartridges have diamonds that are off sometimes up to two degrees or more. This is a lot.
