Krajina Serb Volounteer MOL M68 Handmade Cover Uniform With Patches

The M68 MOL (Summer camouflage pattern) was a Yugoslav people’s army four piece,
reversible camouflage suit, developed in 1968 and issued to Yugoslav Peoples Army as a
camouflage combat suit for infantry forces. It was actually the first modern piece of battledress,
since it was the all new, camouflage pattern and canvas made suit, rather than the usual and
already obsolete wool made, non camouflage uniforms like the M55 and even the then future,
M77 which was more fitting with WWII standards than the ones of the Cold War. However,
despite this the M-68 was severely reserved, being issued exclusively to certain forces in a few
specified branches, like paratroopers of the 63 rd parachute brigade, snipers and eventually, some
reconnaissance units, while the rest of the army wore and used the previously mentioned
outdated wool made, non-camouflage uniforms, to be even more ironic, as far as late 1980s -
almost until the very end of Yugoslavia and the army along with it.
