Description

A silver-plated German Ice Bucket of Jugendstil style and period, with stylized handles and hammered body.
Thick and heavy, 2,46 kg.
Made and signed by the firm Wellner, maker of silver-plated items of the highest quality.
This Champagne bucket stands  9 inches tall (23 cm.) and is quite wide, 8 1/4 inches in diameter (21 cm.)
Bottom marked with  "ORIGINAL WELLNER"  "AUG. WELLNER SOHNE" and "A.-G. 30".  M.K. were probably the initials of the proprietor.
In very good vintage condition.
