    This elegant metal chess set created by the designers and craftsmen of Italfama has a traditional Staunton design that is ideal for both playing chess and using for decor in the home. The surface of each piece is decorated with an arabesque ornamental pattern giving them a luxurious appearance. Pieces are made from solid metal using the old-world, lost-wax casting process. They are then brass and nickel plated and lacquered to prevent tarnishing. This is a medium size chess set with a 3" king and a base diameter of 1". Pieces have red felt pads embossed with the Italfama logo. One of Italfama’s most popular chess sets.

    The interior storage box is foam and is in good shape. The outer cardboard box is a bit worn and one corner is damaged (see pictures). This doesn't affect the storage at all.
