Imperial Russian Diamond Ruby Dove Stick Pin Platinum Шапка Мономаха
This is a very rare treasure that will make the most luxurious of gifts. The stick pin was made in Russia circa 1850s-1870s. There are no Russian markings, I think the stick itself is a later addition and it used to be a scatter pin. There is a beautiful diamond and ruby dove motif. The top portion is also decorated with a Monomakh's Cap and a Cross. There is a picture of FABERGE catalog circa that era, you will find the exact symbol there. The pin is crafted in platinum (tested and guaranteed). There are very white old rose cut diamonds set in a gorgeous assemble. There are 14 diamonds, about 1 point each. The genuine rubies are very bright red, they are French cut. Breathtaking Russian treasure!! The pin's head measures 19.83mm x 12.53mm. The weight is 3.3 grams. Judging by the quality of this piece, I can promise you, it was in some very important person's collection. Please see another Russian stick pin sold separately.
