    Description

    This listing is for an 80 color set of Holbein Artists’ Watercolors, poured into full pans. The set includes a magnetic wood tray that I made specifically to hold the set, as well as a watercolor board marked with the included colors, and a 9”x12” artboard that serves as a nice cover. The paints in the tray and color swatch are matched, positionally.
    In the past I would create and sell professional watercolor sets of a variety of brands on eBay. I created this particular set for myself, but having a couple other larger sets I have decided to part with it. Holbein Watercolors are of the highest level of professional paints, and if your style favors working with maximum transparency – this is the set for you!
    I built up this set from the standard 60 color tube set offered by Holbein (This set has become more difficult to find lately). The additional 20 colors I collected along the way. Each full pan holds up to 3.5ml paint, dry. I would say about half of the pans are full to the top, with the remaining at least half full, if not more. A 3.5ml full pan can often hold more than a 5ml tube of wet paint, when dried down. This set will last a very long time.
