Benz Micro MO.9 medium output moving coil cartridge retipped with upgrade square shank, low mass, high polish, grain oriented, gem grade, Fritz Gyger FG S 5/120µm line contact diamond, set onto solid 0.28 mm diameter polished factory ruby cantilever. Cosmetically, this cartridge is excellent except for the writing, which is as you can see in the photos, sort of flaking off and peeling. Otherwise, this cartridge is 100% like new and better because of the massive upgrade cantilever and diamond.
The Fritz Gyger S is known to be one of the most distortion-free diamonds available, with the longest tracing edge available and it is super quiet in the groove as well. Ruby cantilevers are known to transmit higher frequency response with greater facility than other materials and lightning quick transient response. They are also known for being fragile, so be careful! No warranty is available expressly or implied on any damage to the ruby cantilever.
This particular cartridge checks out with an impossible greater than 40dB channel separation and 0dB channel balance difference. These are brand new NOS -type numbers. Obviously, the suspension on this is also in excellent condition.
Cartridge is in operationally top condition as described above and comes with mounting hardware. Headshell, turntable, etc., not included. Sounds absolutely fantastic at spec 1.75g tracking force and has been thoroughly and extensively tested and analyzed and is guaranteed to work to your high expectations or your money back.
