Beautiful Vintage SOWE Konst Ovestad Sweden MCM Teak & Glass Ice Bucket Nice

This auction is for a wonderful vintage genuine teakwood SOWE Konst ice bucket with original nice green glass holder as shown in the pictures taken with and without flash. The ice bucket and glass insert are in very fine condition, with no chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. There are some very minor scratches near the side edge of the very bottom of the wood and a tiny tiny nick on the edge of the ice bucket lid top as shown. The center heavy green glass insert is also in very nice condition, with no chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. We think the green glass insert was made by Holmegaard Glass Denmark but it is not signed and we can not substantiate that. The bottom of the ice bucket is signed: SOWE Konst Ovestad Sweden. Genuine Teakwood. The oval teak design of the ice bucket and the metal and teak handle are just beautiful. The wood ice bucket stands around 11 inches tall when the handle is up at highest position. The handle measures about 9 inches across. The wood portion of the oval ice bucket measures about 6 and three-quarter inches tall by just over 8 1/4 inches long by just over 6 and three-quarter inches wide. The green glass insert measures about 5 and three-quarter inches tall by just over 6 and three-quarter inches long by about 5 1/2 inches wide. It is a wonderful piece of midcentury modern Swedish teak that would look great in anyone’s collection or bar collection. Due to the amount of increasing claims going unpaid- I will now be forwarding the upaid item cases to Ebay within 2 days after auction end and yes it is allowed!!  For those of you who pay on time don’t take this personally. The shipping amount listed on this auction is only an estimate and the actual amount may be higher or lower than what is listed based on the size of the package and where you live.  I don't prebox and weigh the items ahead of time.  Also I charge a handling fee for bubble wrap and peanuts, etc. and it also covers insurance depending on how much is needed and this is reflected in your shipping cost on the invoice.  Please pay invoice within two days of being received.
