    Description

    Antique Vintage Asian Chinese Chess Carved Wooden Mythical Figures Characters. This is a 32 piece set of the figures ONLY. The board itself was damaged at the area which holds the drawers. I cannot identify the exact wood species. The light colored pieces could possibly be of Sandalwood or Fruit Wood. The dark pieces put me in the mind of mahogany. I will be treating the pieces with beeswax in order to restore some moisture back to the pieces. The pieces appear in very good condition considering age. There are some small scrapes or scratches on some of the pieces. Additional photos available upon request.This is an estate find and had been sitting for a great number of years.
