Here's an unusual piece--these small ruby flash glass pieces were most often souvenirs purchased at fairs. This one is ornately inscribed, probably as a gift for a local barber. The date is June 1, 1908. This- "My size for Barbers" small glass may have been poking fun on someone who liked his large mug of beer! The "W. M. Meacham" probably should have been "Wm. Meacham" as there is record of such a person living in Meadville at the time.
