You're looking at a very rare and desirable
Erie Art Metal
trash can/ waste paper basket in good vintage condition and dating to around the 1910s/ 20s. This item features a copper flashed/ japanned finish and overall it is in good shape. It shows wear commensurate with age including scuffs, pitting, rust, marks, dings etc. We have cleaned this item with lemon oil but have otherwise left the finish untouched. The stamped patent date is 1909.
Measurements: 12.25" tall x 11" diameter at the top and 8.5" at the bottom.
