    Description

    Here is this Fabulous big early 20th century antique Edwardian era handcarved shell cameo brooch , it weighs 15.2 g and measures 2 5/8 x 2 1/8" . This shell carving is amazing and looks like a male face facing to the left with some sort of crown and gown over his hair ,the carving is in excellent condition slightly worn smooth but with perfect lips nose eyes and hair . The bezel is very sturdy but has little dents and dings all over the place and has a beautiful patina , it has been professionally tested here and it is a heavy gold filled that is wearing a little bit in places giving it a beautiful patina . The brooch has a good straight pin and sturdy hooked closure and it is so very beautiful and now it is being auctioned at $.99 with no reserve .   ...
