    Description

    Introduced in the seventies, this iconic design with some modifications is still part of Alessi's product line.  This is one of the originals, purchased in the mid seventies, and an important and proud piece of barware in my home since.  My original bucket seems more detailed with wood inserts in the handle and perhaps heavier.  The stand too seems to be made of heavier materials.  It's simple and yet industrial, practical sparse design is adaptable to a modern loft or a country kitchen.  Why spend more for the newest iteration, when you can purchase an authentic vinatge for less?  Alessia markings on bottom.
