2 JERSEY EUROPA 1979 "TELECOMMUNICATIONS" MINT SHEETS + ESU EUROPEX 2006 S/S

Description

On March 1, 1979,
Jersey issued their Europa stamps with
a theme of telecommunications.
(Scott #'s 202 - 205)
8p yellow and black: Jersey Pillar Box
8p carmine and black: Mailman emptying 1979 mailbox
10½p violet and black:
Telephone switchboard c. 1900
10½p blue and black:
Technician working on contemporary telecommunications system
This listing is for a pair of mint sheetlets of that same issue.
Both sheets are numbered adding to their authenticity.
They measure 7¾" x  5¼", are in perfect mint condition,
and would make a nice addition for any worldwide or topical collection.
As a bonus,
this listing also includes a special souvenir sheet
issued by the Europa Study Unit.
The souvenir sheet measuring 3 3/5" x  2½",
was issued at EUROPEX 2006 during the
Washington 2006 World Philatelic Exhibition,
held between May 27 - June 3, 2006.
They would make nice additions to any Europa collection.
