1990 Gallo Gold and Silver Pewter Robin Hood Chess Set.
ITEMDESCRIPTION AND CONDITION:

Great looking1990 gold and silver Robin Hood chess set by Gallo.
The pieces are signed by the artist M.Daley.
The pieces are made of pewter.
One side is 18k gold-plated (a Gallo standard).
The pieces have a lot of detail and a good weight to them.
Each piece has the name of the character written on the front of the stand.  Gallo has released some very high quality chess sets over the years.
The set also comes with a beautiful marble chess board (not original to theset).
The black and white squares really set off thecolors on the chess pieces.
This seems to be a fairly rare set.
I’ve had it for about 15 years and haven’t noticed another one on eBay. When I Google searched “Gallo Robin Hood Chess Set” or different variations on that theme, I get no hits.
If anyone can find more information, please let me know.
Update:  Just got feedback from another longtime Gallo Pewter enthusiast who confirmed he'd never seen this chess set before either.  Seems to be fairly rare.
The pieces and marble chess board are heavy.  ~14 lbs. before adding packaging material.
