1981 Soviet Russian Grand Master Chess Set 4.5K W/Wood Knights US Listing

Description

1981 Soviet Russian Grand Master Chess set. The listing is for the chess pieces board/ box and both are in excellent condition.  The 32 piece set is in very good used condition with the typical heavy varnished pieces of this era.  See pictures. Kings measure approx. 4 1/2" in height . The Knights are wood and not plastic like a lot of Soviet sets. The 32 piece set is nicely weighted. The wide-base pieces have a good feel and handle well. Piece bottoms are covered in a grey color cloth.  The pieces display a nice patina.  A set for tournament,  blitz or home play and a great addition to one's collection.
The Set will be well wrapped and boxed for shipping.
