1980’s Franklin Mint Civil War Pewter Chess Set
ITEM DESCRIPTION AND CONDITION:
Please review the provided photos carefully as they are part of the description.
Very nice condition overall.
No obvious wear on the leatherette chess board other than a small wear spot in one of the gray squares. The wooden storage box is in very good condition.
All of the rubber feet are attached to the bottom although one appears to have been replaced .
The pewter
Chess pieces are in very good condition with no obvious damage.
All Description Cards are present for both Union and Confederates.
Note 1:  Those are not wear marks on the wood cabinet edges.  That is the light reflecting off the edges from the camera flash.
Note 2: It is common for the Pawn rifle tips to be slightly bent from shipping and packaging.
If so, they can easily be gently straightened with tweezers and patience.
