14K Persian Turquoise Pearl Monogram Pin Antique Gold Brooch Entwined Letters

With its lovely colors and interesting shape, this antique 14 karat yellow gold Monogram brooch is gorgeous, romantic and full of meaning.  It is interesting how beautiful letters can be and this monogram, with intertwined letters in a fancy font with flourishes, encrusted with lustrous seed pearls and natural Persian Turquoise cabochon stones, has elegant lines and is graphically pleasing and visually captivating.
The brooch measures about 7/8" by about 13/16" and weighs 2.5 grams.  There are separate plaques where the findings were attached on the back (last photo) and it has the old style simple "c" clasp and slightly elongated pin stem, which work perfectly.  It is not signed but acid tests as at least 14 karat gold.
It is in Very Good vintage condition with just expected surface dirt and scratches as well as small imperfections in the natural stones.  As is usually the case with these older pieces, it appears one or more of the turquoise cabs may have been replaced over the years.  There is a little clear residue around one or two and some are of different shades of blue (and different shapes, heights/profiles), which really adds to the pin's antique charm, beauty and interest.  The gold has tarnished and mellowed over time, giving it a lovely warm vintage patina; cleaning and polishing are left to the buyer's discretion.
