The stainless steel 1/2" (2.5" face) dial thermometer has a wide range of uses. 1/2" NPT fitting stem length (end of NPT fitting to end of stem): about 2" dial size (diameter of dial): 2.5". These uses include - moonshine still, brewing pot, mash pot, lids of a pot, boilers, attachments to copper tubing, steam temperature gauge. This thermometer is a perfect because it is made of stainless steel so it will not leech anything into your brew or taint the flavoring. It has an easy to read 2.5" dial gauge with Fahrenheit degree measurements - has 2% accuracy so you know your reading the right temperature - screws directly into a 1/2", female fitting.
